Now all pipelines run in separate threads. That is convenient for most web applications. But it's also relatively easy to implement an alternative way of computing, through processes, so that it is possible to make more efficient computations on multicore processors

Partly integrated via #10 but unit tests and minor (I hope) improvements will be required
