Run UGS in server mode

Good afternoon. I checked the work of UGS on the machine, everything works fine. The server mode also works great. Is it possible on Linux (including on OrangePi) to run UGS immediately in server mode (put it into startup).

What do you mean by server mode?

There is an option to start the Web Pendant automatically on UGS startup:

Ok so you mean running UGS in a terminal mode.

Then you need to manually install Java 17, download UGS Classic and then run the start-cli.sh script. To start the web pendant automatically use sh start-cli.sh -d.

However, I could not get this to work on my machine at the moment:

If I run under an ordinary user, I get the following:
Couldn't connect to controller with firmware "GRBL" on ttyUSB0 baud 115200
Error opening connection: Could not connect to controller on port jserialcomm://ttyUSB0:115200

If I use root, I get an error similar to yours (jakarta....)

I think that I have fixed that issue in the nightly build. However, since I upgraded the internal web server it stopped working in the classic UGS edition. I know what the problem is but haven't found a viable solution yet.

Installed it. It runs only under root.
logs in ~/.ugsplatform/var are not written.
An error occurs periodically in the console, but everything continues to work

Why, what is the error? Do you have proper access rights to access your hardware. On some distributions you need to do this (and then reboot): sudo usermod -a -G dialout <username>

Regarding the error in your log file, this is fine, it is a web socket timeout to the client. The client will re-establish the connection when needed. I'll remove that log message.
