Is it possible to have the panel displayed during dragging? A behaviour like e.g. in MS Visual Studio, where the undocked panels are displayed as floating windows during dragging would be very nice.

Yes it is, just not implemented.

Would love to see this implemented. This is the most feature complete Dock libraries I could find for Avalonia. Not having visible panels while dragging does make its usability a bit of a challenge.
