QEmu not starting up, no info in the guides how to troubleshoot

In on Windows. I've tried on 4 different Windows machines - 8.1 and 10. And within a VMWare VM if that helps (it supports nested virtualisation and the options are enabled for it). And with VMWare exited fully. And on machines that havent ever had VMWare.

IWP starts up, the main panel appears, the opening bar never finishes to the right,. When I REM out the "Hide QEMU" line in the startup BAT I dont see any window appear, and none of the buttons work except quit - I assume because they all assume QEMU has at least started. The support guides just say to REM that line and see what isnt starting, but I cant because the entire QEMU status box doesnt show.

There's no further troubleshooting guides to work from, no AV/Smartscreen blocking, and I'm at a dead end what's up. Any troubleshooting support appreciated.
