Strange behavior running mario in KK webview

Using this mario gist https://api.wearscript.com/#/gist/11346068/glass.html we get this problem http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20675554/webview-rendering-issue-in-android-kitkat but even after disabling hardware rendering we still get W/AwContents﹕ nativeOnDraw failed; clearing to background color.
