In the example script:
docs/examples/bayer_data.py At line 35: assert data[:4] == 'BRCM'
The Assertion Fails in Python 3.9.2

The Workaround I found for this: assert data[:4] == b'BRCM'

Apparently b'BRCM' and 'BRCM' Cannot be compared.
