Thanks for this dataset! I'm wondering if I'm using the camera parameters wrong because if I interpret them as the usual 5 distortion parameters as in OpenCV, I get bad undistorted images like this:

For your question, I think you can check the camera model you used. I guess that you're using fisheye model, while we used Pinhole camera model. Or maybe you can show more details of your visualization process.
