Maybe I am wrong but it seems that the "Run in Web Client" feature is setting up the web client url from the server information (actually defining the dev endpoint) in the launch.json. If dev end point and web client url are not identical "Run in Web Client" does not work.
"Run in Web Client" should rather fetch the web cleint url from the NST (settings).
