Using multiple narration documents for an HTML document: Synchronized Narration #27

In 2.1.1 of Synchronized Narration,

No more than one Synchronized Narration document may be associated with an HTML document.

I heard from my DAISY colleagues in Japan that different students require
different voices (male or female, for example).

That would be an interesting feature - some sort of switching mechanism. It would normally be at the sync narration file's top level but I could also see a case for switching at the 'narration' container level and also the pub-manifest level.

In the case of EPUB3, we can use multiple publication documents within a single EPUB publication for this purpose.
