Could you please share the timelines of updates? I'm interesting what features\bugs will be added\fixed in the Payment Request and Payment Handler and when?
With this info we will be able to present this approach for merchants from a better point of view.

Hi @RomanKaliupin,

From the W3C perspective (as opposed to the implementer perspective):

• We are seeking to finalize version 1 of Payment Request API for Q1 2021 [1]. I anticipate that in Q2 2021 we will revisit the priorities related to that specification (including additional feature requests).
• We are awaiting experimental results related to the Secure Payment Confirmation [2] experiment this month or next. If the experiment shows promise for SPC, I anticipate that will be the next focus of the group (and presumably implementers).
• For Payment Handler API, the focus has been getting feedback from API users. My expectation is that real world experience will drive the next developments related to that specification.
