The specs extends a number of interfaces, dictionaries, enums, but the auto-linked versions of these names go the terminology section rather than the extended version; it makes it harder to get to and review the extended version.

This is good feedback, I'd like to find a solution how to make the href-less a elements to navigate to cross-references directly with ReSpec.

Since ReSpec does not support Custom Definitions a la Bikeshed AFAIK, I'm afraid this issue will be won't fix unless we patch ReSpec or switch to Bikeshed for this spec. Perhaps I look into implementing this feature in ReSpec.

What we now have is a workaround that has its issues. I guess the current workaround is still preferred over not linking to the cross-references at all? E.g. mediacapture-main does not link to the cross-references at all from the prose -- not sure if that's intentional?

I labelled this as v2 enhancement, since I consider this an editorial issue. Bikeshed would fix this, as would a patch to ReSpec.
