One device is out of sync, and will not sync up

My live sync CouchDb instance was down for a few months. Upon setting it back up I had 2 devices both with different files each. Not much was modified or moved, Just many new files on each in different locations.

The device that had the most files is using v0.19.0, another device which syncs the same data is also on v0.19.0. My device that is out of sync and will not sync up is on v0.23.0.

I'm using CouchDb for life sync. The DB connection works just fine, But the v0.23.0 device will NOT retrieve the new files or changes present for all other devices on older versions. New ivles on the v0.23.0 device do not sync to other devices on older versions. I do NOT use encryption.

I'm afraid of upgrading the livesync versions on my other devices for fear of data loss.

What might be going on here?

Made a copy of the DB on the device with a few hundred additional files and upgraded it to v 0.23.0 and followed the prompts.

Anndddddd all my new files & edits where destroyed in favor of what was in CouchDb :(
