Setting up CouchDB on Proxmox with SWAG (nginx) as my reverse proxy

I have CouchDB setup on my proxmox host (https://tteck.github.io/Proxmox/) and it's up and running on the GUI. I also have it working on my reverse proxy SWAG, but I'm not sure what user/database setup is needed within CouchDB. The shell script linked here, https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync/main/utils/couchdb/couchdb-init.sh, didn't work for me when I setup the right variables so I wanted to understand what I can do to setup the DB itself.

I tried messing around with the "nonode@nohost" since that was giving errors to change to "couchdb@localhost" but that also gave errors. Any help for getting this setup would be great!
