Installation not possible due to proxy server

Please add an option to define a HTTP proxy server.

It's there.

$ man xbps-install
     HTTP_PROXY              Proxy URL that will be used to establish a http
                             connection.

     HTTP_PROXY_AUTH         Sets the credentials to authenticate a user agent
                             to a proxy server, in the form user:pass.

I know that, but a novice user may not have an idea. So there should be an "add proxy URL" option that a) sets this to the environment so that installation works fine and b) sets this to the freshly installed system into /etc/profile.d/proxy.sh
