Velero Incremental Backup

I am following this link(https://medium.com/@danieljimgarcia/we-save-thousands-every-month-by-using-incremental-snapshots-with-our-velero-backups-c1a39dd64382) for reference of velero incremental backup of mongodb application in AKS. But i could see multiple snapshots in my snapshot location. Incremental Backups should not create multiple snapshot disks. But this is not the case in my situation. I also refered this official documentation. https://github.com/vmware-tanzu/velero-plugin-for-microsoft-azure?tab=readme-ov-file . Can someone guide me where I went wrong? I am taking scheduled backups to take backup.

I need my backup not to create extra snapshots since incremental backup flag is enabled.
