Copy Logs

I'm deleting messages so things I said can't be taken out of context and used against me. However, I still want to have the messages in my possession just to be safe. 2 things:

1. Is there a copy button somewhere I'm not seeing?
2. Since I'm deleting over 20,000 messages, will the logs auto delete some at the top after a certain point?
