Unsure if its intentional as a troll if so just close the issue.
if you hit the button to lower the shutters that block the emitter beam, they don't actually block the emitter beam they still shoot through the shutters, until you block the beam with a solid object like a girder, then the shutters work fine it seems

Shutters ought to block the emitters to make backtracking safe, that was my intention.

Did some testing with emitters and it seems that changing the density of an object that's already being crossed by an emitter doesn't update the beam. Beam code looks kinda complicated.
