VSCode Settings

This guide outlines common VSCode settings for Python development, along with the requirement to install Python and Ruff.

Note: Before applying these settings, ensure that Python and Ruff are installed on your system.

Extensions Recommended:

  • Python: Provides support for Python language features and tools.
  • Ruff: A code formatter for Python that enforces PEP 8 style guide recommendations.

Optional Extensions:

  • SQLite: Provides support for SQLite database files.
  • Night Owl: A theme extension for VSCode that provides a dark theme with vibrant colors.

Configuration Code

Put the follow code in a folder named .vscode which should be on the root of your project.
