Language selection repeats itself when dropdown is toggled

Describe the bug:
This is not a bug but a very small frontend issue, where when a selected language, for example "Javascript" is already selected, but it repeats itself again in the dropdown menu. I've attached a screenshot to show what I am trying to convey.

Steps to reproduce behaviour:

1. Open the site.
2. Click on "JavaScript" in the menu.
3. Attempt to scroll within the menu.
4. Found "JavaScript" again in the menu
