What happened?

Feature Request: In some old Windows machines, only the first partition is detected. When transferring data between PCs with Windows 8, the PCs couldn't detect the data partition at all. It only shows the Ventoy partition, which is the first partition. Please allow the data partition to be the first partition too instead of just the last partition.

What do you mean by data partition? Do you mean the 3rd partition?
Old windows os can only access the first MBR partition on a removable usb flash drive. This restriction is nothing to do with Ventoy!
This annoying feature was fixed on later releases of windows 10 and windows 11.
If you use a usb HDD or add for Ventoy, you will be able to access partition 3.
