Sans actually has two fonts that he uses. One of them is comic sans, but when he gets serious (black eyed), there is another font that he uses. This font is a spaced sans serif font. Adding something like a checkbox when the player selects a Sans face (or two faces for black eyed Sans with an indicator ) would be useful in case someone wants to use that font instead.

I've considered this and I haven't ruled it out yet, but one of the most
difficult things I had to do was getting the pixely fonts for Sans and
Papyrus (I had to write a whole separate script to extract them from a PNG
and turn them into fonts). If it turns out to be just as hard to get Sans's
alternate font I might deem it not worth the effort for such a niche case.

I did some digging and found that san's "serious" font is just the standard dialogue font. the real issue would be changing between the two fonts.
also, while we're on the subject of fonts, are there any plans of adding gaster? I found a pixelated font for him as well: https://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/1301282/pixel-wingdings
