Actually you did uninstall EP in a way, you disabled it when you deleted C:\Window\dxgi.dll. |

Saw on releases that you can't update to 24h2 with explorer patcher installed but I was able to:
From releases:
When updating to 24H2, please uninstall EP before starting the update. You can install EP again with your settings intact after updating to 24H2. Due to explicit blocks by Microsoft, the update cannot proceed if EP is installed.
What I did: I had explorer patcher and I forgot to uninstall it, the pc was unsupported so I looked on github for a method to bypass requirements, I used this repo https://github.com/builtbybel/Flyby11
It worked with method 2, I downloaded the iso and made the tool do the bypasses in registry, then I mounted the iso and ran the upgrade, waited all night and it updated. The next day I uninstalled classic shell and explorer patcher with revo using task manager and running chrome to install it, then I looked at event viewer and found why explorer wasn't running and on Microsoft answers they were suggesting to remove dxgi.dll, I looked at it and it seemed to be of explorer patcher so after deleting it from C:\Windows the new explorer did start. You can use the old windows explorer to delete it and then end it from task manager. I hope this will be of help for someone I guess and I can say that with this method I was able to update with explorer patcher installed on the system.
