Hi,

I am building a tree to make a helicopter view for the company with multi departments and sections. I need to populate the number of employee under each departments, and sections. Note that there is a position node before the employee. I managed to display this:
Company 1

--------- Adam
------ Position 2
--------- Brian
--------- Section 1
------------ Position 3
--------------- Kelly
------------ Position 4
--------------- Natalie
--------- Section 2
------------ Position 5
--------------- James
------------ Position 6

------ Position 7
--------- Mark
------ Position 8
--------- Sophie
After the tree is fully loaded (loaded.jstree event) I want to populate the number of employees under each Company, Department and Section, so that the figure would look like this:
Company 1 (8)
--- Department 1 (6)
------ Position 1
--------- Adam
------ Position 2
--------- Brian
--------- Section 1 (2)
------------ Position 3
--------------- Kelly
------------ Position 4
--------------- Natalie
--------- Section 2 (2)
------------ Position 5

------ Position 7

------ Position 8
--------- Sophie
I am not sure I can iterate using the get_json('#', { flat: true }) as a recursive iteration would be needed. I have read this: https://groups.google.com/g/jstree/c/Uuik-hok_H8 but this is only to count the leaf nodes. Any idea how to achieve this without recursive or prepare the data from database? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the current tree I've been working so far where the icons represents Company, Department, Section, Position and Person.

Please ignore this case, after I think it over again, it would be best to calculate this from database, as update would require a long time for thousands of nodes.
