Is it possible to edit the DB names?

I have some names that after registration on the competition they appear with issues.
I also have duplicated names that i would like to delete.
How can i edit the DB?

Hello Pedro,

You can edit Persons under its dedicated main menu. You can change their name (given/family name) and few other details.
Unfortunately there is no option to delete a person you already entered into the system through the user interface because those Person objects might be linked to athletes at previous competitions.

However to avoid duplicates, the recommended way is to use Import Athletes option for every event. That way you manage your entry list in an Excel sheet where you can define the "Custom ID" (along with other details of the person) which must be unique at every person.
Once you have your persons assigned with a custom ID, at next import the Arena will look for the custom ID (set in the import XLS file) within the existing Person objects. If there is already a person with that specific Custom ID attribute, no new user will be created, but the existing will be used for the new event as well.

Hi Csaba,

"You can edit Persons under its dedicated main menu" - thats what i do when i notice that some names are wrong.
Regarding the import athletes option , its the way that i use to upload the athletes every event and thats why i requested on other topic to add the total number of athletes on the athletes page. Also, on the excel file i also add the custom id which is their official licence number registered on the portuguese federation.
One final note is that this only happens with 1 team and evertything is correct on the excel file.
I dont have any prt too share but i will on the the next time this happens.
