Number of epochs to get the best model

I wanted to reproduce the results by the models and was wondering the number of epochs each model had to be trained to get the scores shown.

For most of the models it's around 2-3 epochs!

I find it strange the default was set to 100 - and you recommend 2/3?
How many epochs did you run when you make your checkpoints public - that would be nice to know
