Problems entering text on empty line in scripture card #620

When I enter text on a blank line, the characters are not displayed. But when I leave edit mode, one of the characters may show up.

This is in released GWE. Tested MacOS Sonoma 14.2. See the problem on Safari only, Firefox and Chrome seem to be fine.
