Was really happy when I found about this module, but really fast my enthusiastic feeling drop down when I found that jQuery is required.

How hard will it be to rewrite it so it become jQuery independent? Tnx in advance!

Hello! Thank you for raising the feature request and apologies it hasn't been responded to earlier.

If you can provide a PR, we will definitely consider it. Using vanilla JS is certainly technically possible, but with the latest Silverstripe CMS (4.12) having upgraded its jQuery dependencies to 3.x, I don't see a real need for trying to be JS-lib agnostic here, it will still be an integral part of the CMS for the near future.

What specific problem do you have with it?
