Ideas for directing discussions:

  • what's good practice?
  • learning from others?
  • what does an organisation that represents people think TREs and facilities should be doing?

Need committment from presenters before confirming theme. Otherwise could talk about funding/investment, and leave for March

PEDRI confirmed, so we should be able to run something even if others aren't available.
Tentative plan:

  • Intro/welcome
  • 30 m working group updates
  • 2h session on PIE
  • Open mic/community updates

An update on the Dec meeting

We have speakers:

RDS
PEDRI
Tudor B (a citizen participant in our community)
And maybe UseMyData
Also talking to the oneLondon engagement team.
And we have the Citizen Agency working group to add community context to this too.

So I think this should enable us to launch the event

And host a 120-150 min session on Public Engagement

Can you confirm the other items needed to be covered on the 3erd Dec session. Summary of prior discussions below

CMWG update: Funding / Balint stepping down / ~20mins?
WG updates: 30 mins
Open session for members to flag things ~15mins
