not all sources appear in add source list (workaround provided)

At random (but quite often) it seems like the add sources list breaks and just doesn't list all possible sources, i have plugin for looking-glass as a source added but this happened before adding that too.

if i leave obs-studio-portable open long enough they might show up, or they might not, it seems to be random each time.
Any ideas on what to try out?

Found a reliable way to make the missing sources appear.
Right click inside the sources list, hover over Add, move away from Add so that the list of possible sources vanishes, hover over Add again, move off it again and then on the 3rd hover over Add, all sources will be visible.
