Prerequisites

  • I verified that this is not a filter issue
  • This is not a support issue or a question
  • I performed a cursory search of the issue tracker to avoid opening a duplicate issue

  • I tried to reproduce the issue when...
    • uBlock Origin is the only extension
    • uBlock Origin with default lists/settings
    • using a new, unmodified browser profile
  • I am running the latest version of uBlock Origin
  • I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I report is not a normal behavior

Description

On MacOS, uBlock0 instructs users to "ctrl+click to disable uBlock0 on this page", but it doesn't work

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Click on the extension's icon

2. Hover over the blue button

3. Press ctrl, and while keeping it pressed, click the button

Expected behavior:

uBlock0 is disabled on the current page

Actual behavior:

A context menu appears

  • uBlock Origin version: 1.25.0
  • Browser Name and version: Firefox desktop 73.0.1
  • Operating System and version: MacOS 10.15.3 (19D76)
