Pasting several lines of text into the notepad creates way too many copies of the new notepad #15

Could you elaborate? I'm not seeing this behavior. Are you copying from a spreadsheet maybe?

Also what platform are you on?

I'm on Windows, using Firefox any Chromium-based browser, pasting from a text file into a blank Once upon a time, notepad - seems to me that this is kind of a placeholder, and an actual notepad is created only after something is written there, so when there's multiple lines it creates multiple notepads.

I see. That has to be a difference in how Firefox on Windows interacts with the clipboard. I'll look into it.

My bad, it wasn't Firefox - in fact, on Firefox things seem to work as expected.

I had the same issue today. it created twenty different instances of the notebook every time i would copy in text.

@unoriginalscreenname I'm guessing you're using Chrome, which seems to handle paste events a little differently from Firefox. I've changed it a bit now, so you may have better lock with the latest commit.
