Good to see an important consideration and benefit pointed out for a mathematical formalism (Big ARG process). I find it a much stronger claim when a math formalism is described as having a benefit in one way (like "facilitate mathematical reasoning") while having a downside in another (the target data of simulation). This is in contrast to just talking about all the ways a formalism is bad and a proposed new formalism is good.

This i found the most convincing argument that gARG is better for encoding than eARG:
