Fifo and event commands support?

Can I interact with tunein-cli via a fifo pipe? Also, does tunein-cli have an event commands function like pianobar, which sends data like station lists, search results, program return codes, etc. to a file? I'm asking because I'd like to develop a wrapper for it to present the app to visually impaired.
