Ability to set alarm duration #1141
Comments
I am sorry, but I am a bit confused. Are we talking about the "Sleep Timer" or the "Alarms"? In either, it should last more than 15 minutes, ideally indefinitely. |
I'm referring to the "Alarms", and would like to be able to choose a long duration for it. The reason I don't just use the Sleep Timer and manually add an hour or two, is because I'm hoping to make the sounds start automatically. So I'm hoping for a fusion of both features, where I can set a start and end time. As for an indefinite duration, I tried the alarm last night, but it only lasted 15 minutes. Not sure if this is because I changed the start time while Noice was playing sounds as a part of the alarm. I'll see how it behaves tonight if I leave the start time alone. |
It could be due to battery optimisation settings. See this for more information: https://dontkillmyapp.com/ Other than that, it seems like a valid enhancement request. I'll see what we can do about it! |
I unset battery optimization for your app, and the alarm was still greater than 15, but less than 20 minutes in duration.
Awesome! 😄 |
Is your feature request related to a problem?
I like the feature of setting a Noice alarm at bedtime to remind me to sleep, and to help me fall asleep. However the sounds only last for 15 minutes.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to be able to choose a duration for the alarm that is longer than the setting used by the main clock application.
Thanks! : )
