Would be neat to explore baking in some free vpn options for people to use, along with the warnings about free to use vpns.

I was thinking:

ProtonVPN for GUI Users: Offers a no-data-cap free tier, ideal for those who prefer graphical interfaces. Users should note the limited speed and servers.

AtlasVPN for CLI Users: Suitable for command-line interface enthusiasts. Free tier available with possible speed and server limitations.

I have some things already scripted to install both of them using the install-tools.sh.
