The in-kernel resource manager is not sufficient for complex scenarios such as SSL or X.509 operations. The tpm2-abrmd must be used instead.
Is this only about provider support or the old engine support with OpenSSL 1.1.x also has this limitation. Is it recommending to use tpm2-abrmd even with engines (plius Openssl 3.x) , not just providers?
Slightly unrelated...tpm2-abrmd and in-kernel RM can co-exists or not? since above description says "must be used instead", got this doubt.
Thanks,
Katta
