Why JSCover

At least on GitHub, which is the most active open source repository, JavaScript is clearly the top programming languge. It seems the tool-set and popularity of JavaScript is growing and JSCover fills a gap left by JSCoverage.

History

I used JSCoverage for several years, but had trouble with the server version when Windows 7 came out. When I found the project could no longer be maintained, I investigated replacing it with Rhino, but found a few bugs. Around mid 2012, I noticed these bugs were fixed, and so began development, initially in Mercurial on a USB, and the result is JSCover.
