tmate only shows a completely blank terminal (plus status bar) after discarding the connection messages #299

Running tmate first gives me, as expected, the message showing the URIs to connect to the session. After discarding that with q though, all I get is a completely blank terminal without even a prompt, only showing the status bar at the bottom saying [0] 0:bash*.

tmux works fine. I am using the kitty shell, bash, and liquidprompt.

It seems tmate cannot handle liquidprompt; it is what's breaking tmate.

Starting a new shell with --noprofile or disabling liquidprompt also didn't help here, I had to remove the "source liquidprompt" line from my .bashrc to get tmate working

:/
