Local stemmata are a concept frequently used for the analysis of contaminated traditions, especially e.g. Biblical scholarship. These could be implemented in Stemmaweb by taking the existing reading relations and making them directed. Users would need to decide whether they are setting directed or undirected relations, either for a particular location (does this make sense?) or for the entire section / tradition.
