Model changes that have not yet been migrated

As of Jan. 17, 2019, I am seeing that in the develop branch there are some model changes that have not been reflected in migrations. The following message appears during start-up with docker-compose up (when migrations are run).

Your models have changes that are not yet reflected in a migration, and so won't be applied.

It appears the only difference with previous migration files is that the names of the db_column for many fields in seumich are no longer prefixed with b (for bytes), e.g. b'ADVSR_PREF_FIRST_NM'.

@jonespm or @zqian, any knowledge about this? Maybe it has something to do with the test/local development database, versus connecting to edwprod?
