I've been trying to work with the following code

use Illuminate\Support\Str;

return [
    'selected' => function ($page, $section) {
        return Str::contains($page->getPath(), $section) ? 'active' : '';
    },
];

this works, but is there a way to rewrite this so that i need to make sure that the $page->getPath() and $selection matches. and when working with this, does it need to use Str. This is due to nested active class been enable when you're on the current page.

i ended up doing this way but is without the Str::contains()

return ltrim( $page->getPath(), '/' ) === $selection ? 'active' : '';

nevermind i found it, return Str::endsWith( ltrim( $page->getPath(), '/' ), $selection ) ? 'active' : ''; seems to work with what I'm dong
