Troubleshooting
Q: I get "Cannot respond to an interaction after 3 seconds".
A: Sync your Windows clock.
Q: I see "File hidden by Slack limit". What can I do to show the file?
A: The most straightforward way to handle this is to first remove most of the users from your Slack, pay for Slack for a single user's cost, then export your chat history.
Q: Threads and thread messages are being posted as normal messages!
A: You've likely hit the 1000 active thread limit. You will need to close active threads as the import is completing. See this request to Discord made to resolve this issue and feel free to provide your input and an upvote: Allow Threads to be Programmatically Made "Inactive" #6703
Q: My Slack mentions aren't mentioning people in Discord!
A: Slackord isn't designed to map users from Slack to Discord.
Q: Slackord doesn't run at all when I attempt to open it!
A: You may need to install the latest .NET Runtime for Windows here.
