'd' and 't' with caron are ugly

Concerning these two characters:

U+010F LATIN SMALL LETTER D WITH CARON
U+0165 LATIN SMALL LETTER T WITH CARON

They look very ugly. As they are now in League Gothic, they are just the letters with appended U+2019 RIGHT SINGLE QUOTATION MARK. In general, the quotation mark-like diacritics should be closer to the character and somewhat smaller as documented by this image. The first line is League Gothic, the other two are Arial showing the difference between d,t + single quotation mark and d with proper diacritics.
