Edit menu option not needed if the diagram is not editable

What is the purpose of the Copy/CUt/PASTE/ (All Edit menu option) if the diagram is not editable?

We should disable them when the diagram is active

Is there any plan to allow to edit directly into the diagram !
This would involved to generate the text portion of it as well.

No, this is not planned currently.

Diagram editing is tricky, especially as we allow to edit the code textually at the same time. There are a whole bunch of unresolvable problems around this. To keep it short, allowing both modification types leads to quirky tools.
