Whilst sorting alphabetically is helpful for more accurately finding a specific album, on mobile it can take quite a while to get to the bottom of the list!
Two possible options:
Search: add a search box near the top that filters the list (current ordering switch can still be used to determine the output). This would probably be the best UX, but may be overkill.
Alphabetical jump points: if on a narrow viewport, with a-z sorting selected, show a secondary navigation that links to any letters with entries. Can just use anchor links; would need to iterate through collection array and find changes of first letter, then ascribe these an id that can be jumped to. Wider viewports may not need this.
