macOS

Operating System Version

MacOs 14.5 (Sonoma)

What CPU architecture are you using?

arm64 (including Apple Silicon)

Last Known Working YouTube Music (Application) version

Reproduction steps

  1. Download 3.7.0, 3.7.1, or 3.7.2 YouTube Music arm64.dmg file
  2. Install YouTube Music App by dragging to Applications folder
  3. Get the error message above saying the application is damaged and needs to be deleted.

I have tried this on all iterations of 3.7 with no luck. Intel app confirmed working via rosetta.

Expected Behavior

I try to open an unsigned app via the correct measures and have it open on my Mac Studio.

Actual Behavior

Application on ARM64 install says it is damaged and needs to be deleted.

Enabled plugins

Cannot even get Arm64 app to open.

Additional Information

Intel version confirmed working via rosetta

After further research into how signatures for ARM systems work in Apple, I have fixed the issue on my own.
