Windows users apparently need to have:

  • Python 2.7 or greater
  • Visual Studio or a C++ compiler from somewhere else

What package is trying to build from source? Should be solved by adding it to node-pre-gyp instead of making users install MSVC.

node-usb with Node 5.x is a known issue and just needs those binaries tested.
