FreeBSD Update issue: Undefined symbol "_ZNSt3__122__libcpp_verbose_abortEPKcz"

While doing an update from 1.30.1 to 1.32.0 I followed the guide https://docs.teslamate.org/docs/upgrading/ as always.
However, now I am getting the following error:

[root@teslamate /usr/local/src/teslamate]# npm install --prefix ./assets && npm run deploy --prefix ./assets
ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/bin/node: Undefined symbol "_ZNSt3__122__libcpp_verbose_abortEPKcz"

I reinstalled node.js and ensured that the system is up to date (update & upgrade)

I am running out of ideas.
