If you encountered the same error as the screenshot, don't worry. You need to go back to the domain registration > select your license and then you'll see the domain has already been saved there. Please have a look.

You can try to register again with the primary domain https://vaticanstate.va/
because the system doesn't support registering a sub-domain. But after the registration, you'll still be able to activate the license on the sub-domain. I hope you get it.
