Just for Infos.
Sorry if Im not that active on the project right now. Im finishing an Astroid - Template Zero bilingual website with, as main components, a full e-commerce solution plus an Events Booking solution both from Joomdonation.
https://joomdonation.com/
eShop —> https://joomdonation.com/joomla-extensions/eshop-joomla-shopping-cart.html
Events Booking —> https://joomdonation.com/joomla-extensions/events-booking-joomla-events-registration.html
Also, I have a pure Joomla blog, SmartSlider Pro for everything slider and presentation, a mix of Joomla and 3rd party extensions for breadcrumb, Editor is JCE Pro, Security with Akeeba Admin Pro & Akeeba Backup and other stuff.
Running Conservative Joomla cache and GZip Compression with Akeeba Admin Pro On
On my live test server at —> http://efoilsurf.graf-test.ca/
Not finished yet, but Im getting there. (This is the Joomdev version).
Today I finally pass from the last Joomdev 2.5.4 Astroid to the NEW ASTROID V2.5.13 and also update the main template, Template Zero V2.5.13 with success.
I will update to 2.5.14 later
Template-wise, everything went without a hitch even with all the custom work that I did on template Zero, not one problem.!
I first update only the framework and the template After.
I encounter a few little problems with CSS styling to my breadcrumbs modules and both eShop, and Event Booking.
Some Modifications:
• In eBooking some info was presented with the Bootstrap column system (e.g. col-md-3). Ebooking is using a “form-row” to their columns. This form-row was losing its flex abilities (when I update the framework only). I simply add a CSS .form-row { display: flex;} to fix it.
• Also some input (Checkbox, radio buttons…) were looking weirds, also in ebooking, they were big and distorted, I fix that.
Just few other little modifs and everything is fine now.
When this is online, i will give a bunch of time to the great group here that recognized Astroid for what it is. Simply the most modern, performant and Joomla friendly Framework ever.
